Balak – Everyone and Everything Can Change

Balak was an unsavoury character bent on destroying the Jewish people. He spent fortunes trying.  So why name a Torah Parsha after him?  The nature of the world is to be in a constant state of flux and change – even people.  So the Torah is sharing that even a Balak can be reformed. Everyone can be influenced to express their inner goodness given motivation, opportunity and instruction.
