Gratitude Meditation

Guilt Free Gratitude: Short Class & Meditation led by Menachem Wolf

When something good comes your way do you experience some guilt? How do you give thanks when something good happens to you but not by the hand of a person? (Meditation begins at 14:30) Gratitude is a big ‘thing’ nowadays (it always has been). There are meditations, podcasts, large scientific studies dedicated to gratitude and practicing gratefulness. In Jewish tradition gratitude (Hakarat Hatov) has two steps: acknowledging to self what has happened and then thanking the other. This process may require two very different sets of language because the other needs to understand your expression of thanks.
