Shabbat Morning (Shacharit & Torah Reading)
August 27 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm AEST
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, happening 20 times
Shabbat morning is a time for introspection and contemplation. There is a stillness available to us all – should we tap into the energy of Shabbat. The davening session on Shabbat morning is contemplative and includes singing of niggunim and traditional tunes.
For many the second half of the service is the highlight with Rabbi Menachem Wolf facilitating conversations and discussion on the Torah reading of the week taking us through centuries of commentary, history and a process of contemporarisation.
This service is ideal for all stages of familiarity and knowledge – the second half is particularly interesting for those who seek to deepen their knowledge and understanding of biblical passages.
